On 17 March 2025, Berlin Police President Dr Barbara Slowik Meisel was the guest speaker at the Ambassadors Club. The Club President Dr h.c. Mania Feilcke-Dierck welcomed about 35 ambassadors from all over the world at the Hotel Waldorf Astoria Berlin.
The police President spoke on the question ‘Is Berlin safe?’. She addressed the many challenges facing the police in the German capital. These range from securing daily demonstrations to countless state visits, last year’s European Football Championship and, of course, protecting the embassies.
The Excellencies thanked the Police President and her colleagues for their work and emphasised that they feel safe.
