In mid-March, the Chairwoman of the Defence Committee of the German Bundestag, Dr Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann MP accepted the invitation of Dr h.c. Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club and spoke at the Westin Grand Hotel to more than 40 Excellencies from all over the world.
Her topic was “Rethinking European defence – a turning point (Zeitenwende) for Europe”. The speech was followed by an intensive discussion between the ambassadors and the guest speaker.
