From February 6th to 16th, the 64th International Film Festival took place in Berlin, known and loved as the Berlinale.
Also this year the Ambassadors Club was able to offer the ambassadors four film screenings, which were booked up quickly.
It highlights were a modern French adaptation of the fairy tale classic, “La Belle et la Bête”.
New to the this year program was a children’s film for the families. While the regular program at the Berlinale intended for adults only, the special area, called “generations”, was created to give opportunities to experience the cultural event and the festival atmosphere for children and young people.
Everyone remembers with pleasure on the first visit to the cinema with parents. Therefore it is a great idea to bring in this way culture closer to the youth – as said Mrs. Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club, as well as the young moviegoers.
