In June, the monthly regular meeting of the Ambassadors Club took place in a somewhat different context. This time the guests met at the invitation of H.E. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand and Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club not in a hotel, but in sunny summer weather in the residence of the ambassador in Berlin-Dahlem.
The evening was held under the big topic “Green Development”. Guest speaker of the event was the Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, Thomas Silberhorn. Among the more than 80 guests from diplomacy, economy and society were also about 25 ambassadors from around the world.
According to the topic, the Embassy of Thailand presented with an exhibition of the royal projects on “Green Development” in rural areas of the Kingdom. And of course, Thai food could not be missed, for which the country is so famous worldwide. Exoctic fruits flown in fresh for this event.
