In April it was again that the Ambassadors Club meant: open your ears. Under the title
“Embassy Piano Evening” invited Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, H.E. Jai Sohan Singh to
quite an extraordinary concert evening to the Embassy.
In the first part of the concert impressed a young couple from Russia with their
four-handed piano playing. Nadezda Pisareva and Georgy Tchaidze played pieces of
Ravel, Chopin, Rachmaninov and Dvorák. Both also play at Yehudi Menuhin Live
Music Now Berlin.
After a short break with delicacies from Singapore, the program changed from
Classical to Jazz. All the way from Singapore came the well-known jazz pianist Jeremy
Monteiro to Berlin. Together with Melissa Tham (jazz singer) and Rit Xu
(Jazz flautist) he enchanted with his own compositions, the more than 60 guests from the diplomatic corps and the Berlin Society.
